Sorry but I don't really play much, mainly afk for pirate event. However, thought I'd post anyways because this is a pretty big update. I don't think I'll be interested in EO again like I was for some time. That big rollback and of course botting/lack of real moderation made me take a huge step away.
I lost over 2million in this rollback and no, it was 100% legitimate too. I am sure a lot of players lost much more, this is just horrible.

No, I'm not exactly sure why. Some say Vult got pissed and shut the server down. Some say someone messed with the server somehow. Maybe we'll find out later.
This is the end of eo-guides. It shut down for the reasons we expected to. Lack of moderation. Sad times. For me, I haven't been training, just doing events. Eo is just not worth it right now in my opinion. The people of Eo-guides did a great job, put in hard work and helped lots of people. It will be missed. Not sure how Vult can continue letting these bots take over. Whether it be constant chat spam, resource or leveling bots, they are bad and need to stop.
Grinded my ass off to get to 94 just to be passed up by bots. It's tiring. This is not news I know, it's now typical and ridiculous that it's consider the norm now. We just have to deal with it because Vult refuses to do anything serious about it because "this is a test".
As some of you know, I have been tempted a few times to bot myself but just could not bring myself to do it. I have even had people offer me help doing it. So it's not like I don't know how, it just doesn't feel right to me. There is no excuse, period. What's even worse is the ones that do it but deny it. We're not stupid, if you are botting, most people know you are doing it. It's just hilarious.
At the end of the day though, this is just a game, in the testing phase that will eventually be wiped(it will have to be if it's gonna be officially released ever) so I'll just chill and play the way I wanna play and do my best to ignore Vult's weak moderation. Yes Shadow Guild is a start but far too late really. We've already lost a ton of players that I'm not sure if they'd ever come back now.
Less than 2 months doing nothing but Dragon raids and events got me from 80-90. Not too shabby. Now it's time to take a few days off from dragons, that shit is fun but can be chaotic sometimes.
This update is a huge one. Has good and bad in it. Many upset about the bound cores/gear.
For casual players(like I have become) this is great, not so much for the grinders.
Finally skills and magic? This weekend we will be getting temporary skills and maybe magic too. Also PK. I'm excited but more curious than anything.

So, there's an update in the works. Looks to be quite decent, though it's unclear exactly when release is for it and if class skills will be done with this particular update or what.
Meh, for myself, I'm playing but only casually right now, at least till class skills come. I play other games in the meantime. There's still a lot missing from this version of EO and it saddens me but here I am. As usual, I wish we had more.

Finally getting more range on bows, or at least one particular bow anyways. Still aweful but It's a start. Also closer to getting class skills etc.
So, two new modes are being introduced soon-ish? Not sure why, but here we are. No, I will not be doing them myself. More power to those that wish to do them.
Yet another content update without key elements. He can keep on adding more areas, more mobs and bosses, keep messing with the lighting system so players feel like things are actually getting accomplished but he's just putting on new bandaids at this point.
Not sure what's going on exactly but this is quite strange.
I've heard it could be a bankbob glitch where you get more eons back than what you put in and also heard it was players passing eons and items etc. to other characters because they were afraid of the botting reset Vult has planned soon. A least from screenshots I have seen, that is what I assume he meant.
Only time will tell if he actually goes through with it. I have my doubts.
Yes, the reasoning is stupid. When I came back after 8 months off I was like in the 3000s at level 37.
Ended up hitting level 70 and semi-retiring from training in the top 30s within just a few months.
There are quite a few players that did much better than that and were legit.
Vult is just once again listening to the crybabies. Also hiding the fact that botters are indeed the main reason why it is hard to compete as a legit player.
Should have kept a level cap and slowly increased it with each update like he was doing at first.
I've realized Vult doesn't even really know what he's gonna do. I had hoped he had somewhat of a roadmap in his head at least but he's making it up as he goes along pretty much.
Still no classes, bow range, no way to hide armor/weapons, no player market place or auction house, no aoe, no magic. So many things missing still. Also bots and macros are running wild, especially training bots. It's pathetic.

So, from what I am hearing Vult did NOT ban anyone, he threatened with bans, that part was indeed correct, however, he never banned anyone, the server host banned one player. I just wanted to clear that up for people. So that was my bad.

A lot of players are getting this
Event must have ended most likely. That will trigger your camera back. What you're seeing is an anomaly with camera shift to coordinates (0.0, 0.0) due to a hidden bug. Technically, your character is still in the same location if you use #loc.
Worth noting **if you have an Aeven/Guild Scroll** to use it when the anomaly triggers. That will get you out of the camera shift you're seeing.
Well, it seems the ip bans were indeed a real thing and not just a bluff . A few players actually got banned, I will not list them here as I don't know the full amount. Vult is not playing around anymore and has showed how serious he is. Now if we can just get more bow range, classes with skills etc. and get this game moving in the right direction.
So it seems Vult is cracking down finally and has given out ip ban warnings to quite a few players. They will be prompted upon login with a warning, then they are gone if another issue arises from them.
I'm shocked, wasn't sure if the rumors were true or not but this is a pleasant surprise. Keep it up Vult.
