Two months ago, at the end of Summer, a 14 year old girl was babysitting to make extra cash for the school year. It was late at night, the parents were out, and it was just her and the kids. An hour into her babysitting, she was observing the house; looking at the pictures and what not. She noticed a shelf of clowns, and it sort of crept her out. She followed the shelf to the parents bedroom and found more clowns; these clowns were miniature statues, standing about 2ft high. She looked around the bedroom at the clown statues and noticed a human-size clown, and was amazed at it, but again, crept out. It was another hour later, and she kept walking back and forth of the bedroom door and kept looking at that human-size clown. She was curious of why the parents would keep something like that in their room. She thought it should belong out in the living room, or at least a closet. It wasn't long until the parents called to check up on her and their kids. Before she hung up, she asked the mother why they kept a human-size clown statue in their room. The mother responded by saying, "Get the kids and lock yourself in the bathroom, I don't recall having a human-size statue in the house."
Did I forget to mention that this story is true. This happened two months ago to my friends 14 year old sister while babysitting. When he told me the story and showed me the article, it was a story that I will never forget. The story still gives me the chills and goosebumps today.
I thought this would of been a neat Halloween story to share with all you guys. Have a safe weekend, and share some candy with me!
OMG that story totally freaked me out. I already had issues with clowns and babysitting.
Yeah, it freaked me out, too. If I was her, and the mother told me to get the kids and lock ourselves into the bathroom, I think I would hold the record of the youngest person to have a heart attack.

Maybe theres a lesson to be learned here- one about parents trusting their kids to 14 yr olds. The story said kids denoting there was more than one- thats an awful big responsibilty for a 'child' that cant differentiate b/ween a ceramic clown and a man in a clown suit. I think some ppl are more picky who they would let valet park their cars than who they hand their babies over to. Just take a look at the horrors that happen in day care centers all over the world.
This is an old urban legend, Ive heard this story 100 times.
